Established in 1940, the Democratic Women’s Club of Upper Pinellas County (DWCUP) has the distinction of being one of the first Democratic Women’s Club in the USA!
Democratic Women’s Clubs of Florida (DWCF) belongs to one of nine regions. 
Located in Region V, the DWCUP shares a Region with Hillsborough, Hernando, Pasco and Polk Counties. Each Region has a Region Chair and each County Club has a President.
Members of the DWCUP actively volunteer throughout Pinellas County, with like-minded individuals, to support liberal/progressive candidates and causes.
When we are permitted to gather together again, DWCUP meetings are generally held on the 4th Monday of the month at the Clearwater East Community Library, 2465 Drew Street (corner of Drew and Old Coachman on the campus of St. Petersburg College), Clearwater, FL 33765, USA. ** Dates may be adjusted for holidays and other special events. During this time of Coronavirus, please check the calendar page. Networking/Social Time/Lunch: 11:30 am to 12:00 Noon. Business segment and presentations start approximately at 12:00 Noon (Light lunch available for a $5.00 donation)
Our General Membership Meeting is open to Democrats, citizens of Pinellas County, candidates for office in Pinellas County and the public.
